Intense aromatic deep strong green leaves, with bright purple small flower clusters which are nectar rich for bees and pollinators.
A carpeting herb growing up to 10cm hight and spreading 50cm, it is happiest in sunny, well drained light-dry soils, can make a great thyme ‘lawn’ or green roof.
